Need a quick and easy solution to an issue your pet is facing that doesn’t realy fall under veterinary care or training? Want it to be inexpensive, and non-invasive? Does this sound too good to be true?
Kristen had a problem. Her young boxer was increasingly resisting going into her crate during the day, to the point that she was in danger of injuring herself trying to escape. If she was left free, she chewed on everything in sight….the rug, the walls, the coffee table. Kristen tried every piece of advice that the experts had to offer – from spraying bitter apple or applying roll on deodorant to exposed surfaces in danger of being attacked, to leaving plenty of chews and kongs out for Ford to work on, to upping her exercise routine to the max. But nothing helped.
Kristen’s work schedule had recently changed, and despite the ramped up efforts to keep her busy and tire her out with the help of daily petsitting during the day, the real underlying issue, separation anxiety, was going unaddressed. It was easy to miss – after all Ford usually exudes nothing but joyful exhuberance.
I started adding Reiki treatments to our daily routine…and suggested a flower essence. Flower essences have been used around the world for thousands of years, and their healing powers can be quite amazing. Kristen gave Ford the essence in her water bowl as is usually recommended, and the chewing stopped – that very day.
I’m a believer! -Kristen C.
Holistic solutions, like flower essences, Reiki, canine massage, and aromatherapy work so beautifully – alone, with each other, and with any veterinary protocol your vet suggests.
Puppies and kittens, pets with disabilities, and elderly pets can all benefit from gentle, holistic solutions which offer comfort to both owner and pet through some of life’s stressful events. Some of these isues that I’ve worked on with pets are:
-the trauma of spaying or neutering
-training
-rehoming
-physical injuries
-separation anxiety
-loneliness
-terminal illness and dying
-grief
